In the not to distant past we were excited about the new OS, Windows 95 and Bill Gates and Paul Allen who became famous.

 AI is coming in the form of the autonomous cars being talked about and the computer brain smart enough to be put into a body that functions like a man.
Robonaut is an example of this.
