We were prisoners now set free in a land of misery
Our gods were not here, the ones we made of wood and stone
Left here alone no one but white masters
Light came to us by their God and his Son
Masters God we prayed help us in Jesus name
Soon our own tongue arrived and we stood up in our masters place
Believing in his God and Jesus they had erased
The sorrow and fear now faded away but we like our masters sent God and his Son away
Now our homes are burning our heads are turning this way and that, our children
crying why is that?
Towards the end of our journey a white man came his name was Roger the scribe of God who said, turn back.
Little did we listen before it was to late for the Son of God came and took his people and closed the gate.
We are now under a master cruel and bad breaking our backs, it's a task so bad
we have to destroy all those who will not listen to his plan of peace/salvation, would to God we had listened to Roger, God's Scribe.
Jesus he said is the way and to love our neighbors, for God he said, is watching from above.
If only we had listened we to would have gone home to live with Jesus, now we are slaves again at Satan's sons' will.
Such a day and hour cometh therefore be ready, read the Bible and pray to God in Jesus name.
