The Spirit of the Lord Came Upon Them
Peter said in the book of Acts...
Acts10:34-36
34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
Jews and Muslims and all that believe, can receive the Holy Spirit just like Cornelius, the Roman centurion, did.
Cornelius the Centurion's miracle was because he prayed sincerely to God and helped those in need. But he knew not Jesus. Peter's testimony saved this man and those with him who heard the truth of the gospel.

Oh, what a great day it was, when those Jesus was with on earth, received the Holy Spirit, on the day of Passover. For he did pass over and gave his spirit to the first believers.

12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.
13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.
14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
7: And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
Now, you too, can receive salvation. I am going to give you that opportunity right now.
Pray this prayer, "Dear Jesus come into my heart, forgive my sins and I will live for you forever."
Speaking in tongues is one of the languages on earth, not some mysterious language. If God fills you with his spirit, like he did the apostles and Cornelious, then you have received the gift of God, like Jesus said you would.
